Power: Kat can create fire and handle it without sustaining any injury to her body. She can also withstand high temperatures.
Background:
Kat was born Katharina Stratford in Monterey, California. She has a younger sister named Bianca. Her father is a gynecologist and constantly warns the girls in great detail of what can happen if they fool around, much to their chagrin. When Kat was seven, she and her mother were involved in a car crash. After collision the car Kat and her mother were in immediately burst into flame. Kat came out of the crash mysteriously unscathed, even though temperatures in the car exceeded 257 degrees Celsius. Her mother was not so lucky and burned to death. After this Kat began to show other extraordinary skills, such as being able to ignite fire by such acts as snapping her fingers. Her father sent her to Meillure Academy when she turned eleven, fearful that if she was not taught to properly control her powers they may consume her.
Kat, due to a shoddy relationship in her second year, now detests boys, and would rather run one over than talk to one. She closes up her feeling and has become a social recluse and malcontent. She drives her sister crazy, for Bianca cannot date unless Kat does.
Kat devotes her time to schoolwork and playing her guitar. She quarrels with her teachers and seems to constantly be sent to the office. She is hot tempered and easily becomes aggravated.
